Laura has performed both as a soloist and chamber musician at the The Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), the Gamper Festival of Contemporary Music, Bang on a Can Institute at Mass MOCA, The Banff Centre, April in Santa Cruz and throughout the New York area at venues from John Zorn's The Stone to Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. She performs regularly with Yarn/Wire, a piano and percussion quartet, and has also appeared with Argento Ensemble, Wet Ink New Music, the Wordless Music Orchestra, Lost Dog New Music and Talujon Percussion. Laura holds performance degrees from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville (BM) and Stony Brook University (MM & DMA). She is currently on faculty at the 92nd Street Y School of Music and John Jay College (CUNY).
